Soft Hands For Your Wedding Day

As your flipping through the photo albums of all your married friends wedding albums you get a good idea of just how many photos are taken of your rings and hands. And no one wants to look at their pictures to see cracked hands and rough cuticles! I have found the perfect at home solution that I am totally addicted to. Because I want soft hands too!

Mary Kay has the most wonderful product called Satin Hands. It's a 3 step set: Cleanse, Exfoliation, and Moisturize. I use this once a week at night and put on those little gloves afterwords to wear all night. And I wake up to the softest hands! My husband always comments how soft they are, so that makes wearing the gloves to bed a little more bearable for him!

You can order it direct from a Mary Kay consultants website, if you don't have one right now. I work with an amazing consultant named Rebekah.

How Do You Keep Little Ones Quiet At The Wedding?

This is a tough one! You are always taking a risk by having children at the ceremony or reception, but they are so hard to resist! As I was flipping through the latest Brides magazine I found a solution that is both educational and so darn cute. It left me wishing these had been around when I was a Flower Girl.

They're a more sophisticated version of the Fisher-Price toys we all adored as children and they are designed specifically to teach children as well as offer a (no sound effects) toy for them to play with during the ceremony and recepton. Or if they are young and a little timid about their duties as Flower Girl or Ring Bearer then it's a great gift to give them before the wedding so they can "play" wedding and have a better understanding at how it will all work.

They are sold in sets, Bride and Groom, Church, Wedding Car, Flower Girl and Ring Bearer and range from $10.99 to 64.99. I love that they don't make any noise and have such detail to the peices that they will keep a child's imagination running for hours!

What Bride Doesn't Want A Glowing Complexion?

All Brides want that perfect glowing complexion on their wedding day. A glowing Bride is the epitome of blooming and everlasting love! But how do you get that perfect glow on your perfect wedding budget?

I have fallen in love with what I think is the most effective at home peel. After seeing many reviews in very well known magazines about this product I thought I'd give it a try. The product is Turnaround Radiance Peel Once-a-Week System by Clinique. I immediately ran to Sephora to buy it and am so happy with the results. In fact many of our Bridal Consultants have been turned on to it as well after seeing my perfectly glowing skin.

It comes in an 8 week supply that is around $50.00. Totally worth it if you want to walk down the isle to see everyone gasp at your perfectly clear and glowing skin! So Rush to Sephora today or conveiantly order it online. And be sure to sign up for their Beauty Rewards Club to receive special discounts and samples!

Bartolotta-Grain Exchange

There aren't many things that I would like to change about my wedding day. But I do have to say that if I were to do it all over again, I would have LOVED to have my wedding at the Grain Exchange which is the newest renovated business by the Bartolotta family.

We had the honor of being asked to participate in their first annual Bridal Show. I was blown away by the beauty of this building! It would be a dream to get married there. Talk about celebrity status!

When you first walk in on the ground floor there is a section were you could have hors d' oeuvres and drinks. Which I love because it gives guests something to do while the bridal couple is taking photos. It would be lovely to have a small band playing to entertain the guests. The main ballroom where the reception would be is amazingly beautiful. And they have a loft where your guests can go to talk and it's so chic! They have event coordinators that are patient and wonderful to work with. And if you are looking for your decorations to be pieces of art and to wow your guests you have to see what they can create!

On top of everything else they are so easy to work with. If you are looking for a wonderful place to have your wedding and amazing food (if you haven't eaten at one of the Bartolotta restaurants you have to!) check out The Grain Exchange.

The Grain Exchange is located in Milwaukee at:
225E. Michigan St
Milwaukee, WI 53202

Sweettrio (the perfect treat for your wedding)

I fell in love with this company when I met the owners at a wedding show! They have a desert shop in Grafton and make wonderful treats for special occasions and weddings. Whether you're having a dessert table or want an amazing treat set at each place setting you have to check out Sweettrio in Grafton!

I tried one of their Carmel apples and it was amazing. It was layered in Carmel, then a layer of white chocolate, and then a 3rd layer of chocolate. It lasted 3 days! I can just envision each place setting having a different type of Carmel apple or picking 3 flavors and having different themed tables. How fun and different!

Or pick from some of their amazing dipped nuts for the favors or dessert table. I love the idea of having a fun and laid back treat for everyone. And why not sugar up your guests so they dance a bit longer on the dance floor! You can also visit Sweettrio for dessert or gelato after a night out and get a good taste for what they have to offer.
Sweettrio is located in Grafton at: 1225 Washington Street, Grafton WI 53024
